Gory and erotic horror film: it's been 35 years since I started filming the feature film 3 Psychopaths (3 Psychopaths), it was in 1989, I was 15 years old. The film was finished in January 1992. All scenes were shot in Geneva. The exteriors, in the woods of Jussy and the interiors, in a house in the town of Vernier. At that time, some people already believed in me. I was lucky to be supported by my family as Katina Lorzino et Augusta Russi who became my co-producers. Many others didn't believe I would become a director. I have been directing and producing horror films and reality TV for 35 years through my production company JCG Production. You have to believe in your dreams and above all work hard to get there.

THE PRESS UNDER PRESSURE: MAD MOVIES AND THE FANTASTIC SCREEN – JCG PRODUCTION IN FULL EVOLUTION

As Franck Ribéry said: the spinning wheel will turn. I really liked horror, fantasy and science fiction film magazines Mad Movies et The Fantasy Screen. They wrote good articles during the DVD releases of my films 3 Psychopaths, Decadence and Forest of Demons. In 2014, my films Consequence of Lust and Why Us! were released on DVD. Mad Movies gave me no sign of life and The Fantasy Screen did not write an article, because its director and founder Alain Schlockoff had not appreciated the films and had asked the journalists not to write an article. This must be what we call freedom of the press. Although a nice article makes me happy, I no longer need the press. My films are successful, thanks to streaming. Since then, the press has been in crisis, Mad Movies made 46 collections on the crowdfunding platform KissKissBankBank and The Fantasy Screen made 106. I still wish them a bright future in digital and above all courage, because they are going to need it.

Director and producer of horror films and reality TV / Jean-Clément Gunter : January 24, 2024, I turned 50…less to live for, I take stock. I had an exceptional childhood. Thank you to my dear mother and my grandparents. I hated school. At 15, I started directing my first horror feature film, 3 Psychopaths. I didn't listen to my teachers who discouraged me from doing this job. We cannot discourage a young enthusiast! I also never listened to the frustrated people who couldn't finish their first short film or make a feature film and who tried to discourage me. They did not succeed in the profession, they disappeared, evaporated. I finished my first film 3 Psychopaths at 17 years old. A gory and erotic underground horror film that I left out. I created my production company “JCG Production”.

I continued with Décadence. I realized in everything five horror films and acquired the Belgian film Vacuum Killer. I decided to try to make known 3 Psychopaths. It has been released in several DVD editions and is available worldwide for streaming. Incredible for a little amateur film that was never supposed to be released! My films are available on various streaming platforms, including on Tubi TV, recognized as the largest AVOD platform in the world. On many of these streaming channels, my films frequently rank in the top position. Two of my films are dubbed into Spanish.

I also directed and produced the reality show The house of compromises 1, 2 and 3. Season 1 is also available on the prestigious platform Tubi TV and the 3 seasons will soon be broadcast on television. A little advice: believe in yourself, never listen to people who try to discourage you. If you are passionate, go for it and work… work a lot. This is a small part of my adventure of my first 50 years on Earth.

The filming was difficult, but I have good memories of it. An erotic scene is not very pleasant to shoot, it's complicated. You have to put the actors at ease. But a rape scene is obviously much worse. And yet, it was relatively easy, because the team was comfortable. But I wouldn't go so far as to say that it remains a good memory. It remains an abject scene of a psychopath without limits. To make it realistic, I put myself in the place of the woman who is being raped and only the camera in the place of the rapist. On the ground, it's me. I felt like an old sack of potatoes being moved around in all directions. I also shot several shots with the two actors in the frame. The film is available for streaming and DVD.
